一、學(xué)院介紹

南京大學(xué)社會學(xué)院是中國高校中歷史最悠久、培養(yǎng)人才最多的社會學(xué)專業(yè)院系，在歷次學(xué)科評估中均名列前茅。學(xué)院擁有一支高水平的教師隊伍，總體規(guī)模約44人，其中領(lǐng)軍人才9名、高層次學(xué)者19人。社會學(xué)院未來5年將在保持傳統(tǒng)學(xué)科優(yōu)勢的基礎(chǔ)上，通過學(xué)科交叉與融合，在計算社會科學(xué)、影視社會學(xué)/人類學(xué)、海外社會研究、整合心理科學(xué)等建成新的學(xué)科增長點(diǎn)。

二、招聘崗位設(shè)置

南京大學(xué)社會學(xué)院擬面向全球招聘有志于從事社會學(xué)領(lǐng)域各主要研究方向的優(yōu)秀青年人才到學(xué)院工作。本次擬招聘2名準(zhǔn)聘助理教授；特別優(yōu)秀的高層次人才崗位另議。招聘研究方向包括：

1. 社會學(xué)專業(yè)

2. 人類學(xué)專業(yè)

3. 人口學(xué)專業(yè)

4. 社會工作與社會政策專業(yè)

5. 心理學(xué)專業(yè)

3. 一流的學(xué)術(shù)背景：具有相關(guān)學(xué)科領(lǐng)域的博士學(xué)位，具有一流教學(xué)科研機(jī)構(gòu)的學(xué)習(xí)、工作經(jīng)驗(yàn)，熟悉相關(guān)領(lǐng)域國際前沿的研究動態(tài)。其中助理教授要求（博士畢業(yè)從事學(xué)術(shù)研究兩年以上）；

4. 出色的教學(xué)能力：應(yīng)具有能夠勝任本專業(yè)核心基礎(chǔ)課程和前沿課程的教學(xué)能力，掌握良好的教學(xué)方法，具有較強(qiáng)的語言表達(dá)能力；

5. 突出的科研成果顯示度與未來科研發(fā)展?jié)摿Γ簯?yīng)有相關(guān)研究方向的成果顯示度，對相關(guān)研究領(lǐng)域有原創(chuàng)性觀點(diǎn)，未來研究計劃思路清晰，具有較好的學(xué)術(shù)潛力。

Tenure-track Positions in the School of Social and Behavioral Sciences, Nanjing University

I. About the School

The School of Social and Behavioral Sciences, Nanjing University is one of the oldest and the most reputable institutes of sociology and neighboring disciplines in China. Currently, consisting of 44 high-quality academics and hundreds of talented graduate and undergraduate students from all over China, the School is still evaluated as a top-ranking institute by all kinds of academic performance review. Now, the School has decided to strengthen its expertise in computational social science, visual sociology/anthropology, and integrated psychology in the next five years. In addition, the School is aspiring to broaden its intellectual scope to reach foreign societies and cultures.

II. Recruiting positions

The School of Social and Behavioral Sciences at Nanjing University plans to recruit young scholars who aspire to have a career in the field of Social and Behavioral Sciences studies. The application is open to scholars from all over the world. There are vacancies for two (maximum) tenure-track assistant professor this year. Higher positions for particularly outstanding scholars are available and application will be considered individually. Specific fields of research open for recruitment are:

1. Sociology

2. Social/Cultural Anthropology

3. Demography

4. Social work and Social policy

5. Psychology

III. Conditions for Application

The applicant should

1. abide by the laws and regulations of the People’s Republic of China, and have a passion for teaching and research;

2. abide by the ethics of teachers, uphold academic integrity, be willing to work diligently, and have no criminal record or record in breaching the ethics of teachers and/or academic integrity;

3. have a first-rate background in academic training—specifically, a PhD in relevant disciplines, experience in studying and/or working at first-rate teaching and research institutions, and knowledge of the latest international trends and development in the relevant research field(s); In principle, tenure-track assistant professors are required to have graduated with a PhD degree and engaged in teaching and research for more than 2 years.

4. have outstanding teaching abilities—the applicant should be able to teach core and frontline courses in the corresponding discipline, and have sound teaching methodology and strong verbal skills;

5. demonstrate outstanding research output and potential—the applicant should have publications in his/her field of research, original ideas about relevant fields of research, a clear vision about future research plans, and good potential for further academic development.
