一、學(xué)院介紹

南京大學(xué)化學(xué)化工學(xué)院是我國(guó)最早設(shè)立的化學(xué)院系之一，始建于1920年，后由原中央大學(xué)化學(xué)系和金陵大學(xué)化學(xué)系合并成立南京大學(xué)化學(xué)系，1993年成立化學(xué)化工學(xué)院。學(xué)院化學(xué)學(xué)科為一級(jí)學(xué)科國(guó)家重點(diǎn)學(xué)科，在歷次學(xué)科評(píng)估中均名列前茅。2017、2021年，化學(xué)、化學(xué)工程與技術(shù)兩個(gè)學(xué)科均入選國(guó)家“雙一流”建設(shè)學(xué)科。

學(xué)院擁有一支高水平的教師隊(duì)伍，總體規(guī)模161人，其中中國(guó)科學(xué)院院士3名、長(zhǎng)江學(xué)者特聘教授9名、國(guó)家杰出青年科學(xué)基金獲得者27名、國(guó)家級(jí)優(yōu)秀青年人才38名。

學(xué)院擁有配位化學(xué)國(guó)家重點(diǎn)實(shí)驗(yàn)室、生命分析化學(xué)國(guó)家重點(diǎn)實(shí)驗(yàn)室、介觀化學(xué)教育部重點(diǎn)實(shí)驗(yàn)室、高性能高分子材料與技術(shù)教育部重點(diǎn)實(shí)驗(yàn)室、江蘇省先進(jìn)有機(jī)材料重點(diǎn)實(shí)驗(yàn)室等科研平臺(tái)。一大批具有國(guó)際先進(jìn)水平的儀器設(shè)備為學(xué)院的教學(xué)科研活動(dòng)提供了一流的條件保障。

學(xué)院廣泛開展國(guó)際學(xué)術(shù)交流與合作，與加州大學(xué)伯克利分校、密歇根大學(xué)、悉尼大學(xué)、安大略理工大學(xué)等國(guó)內(nèi)外多所著名高校、科研機(jī)構(gòu)和知名企業(yè)建立了長(zhǎng)期的交流合作關(guān)系，成功主辦了一系列國(guó)內(nèi)外高水平學(xué)術(shù)會(huì)議，具有較大的國(guó)際影響力。

二、招聘崗位設(shè)置

南京大學(xué)化學(xué)化工學(xué)院擬面向全球招聘有志于從事化學(xué)、化學(xué)工程與技術(shù)領(lǐng)域各主要研究方向的優(yōu)秀青年人才到學(xué)院工作。本次擬招聘準(zhǔn)聘副教授、準(zhǔn)聘助理教授崗位，招聘總?cè)藬?shù)不超過8人。

準(zhǔn)聘副教授崗位研究方向包括：

（1）高靈敏生命分析技術(shù)及裝置的建立

（2）高分子凝聚態(tài)物理（高分子材料理論模擬和實(shí)驗(yàn)基礎(chǔ)研究、可持續(xù)性社會(huì)發(fā)展需要的高分子材料物理研究）

（3）綠色化工，擬招聘2人

準(zhǔn)聘助理教授崗位研究方向包括：

（1）配位化學(xué)

（2）有機(jī)合成材料科學(xué)

（3）物理化學(xué)

（4）微納生命體系分析新方法及新裝置的建立

Tenure-track Faculty Positions in School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Nanjing University

I. About the School

The School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering (SCCE) at Nanjing University (NJU) is amongst the oldest colleges and departments in China. The Chemistry Department can be traced back to 1920, and was later amalgamated by the Chemistry Department of the former Central University and the Chemistry Department of the former Jinling University. SCCE was set up in 1993, and is now composed of three departments: Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Polymer Science and Engineering. In 2017 and 2021, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Technology were selected into the list of national first-class construction disciplines.

SCCE has 161 faculty members, 3 members of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, 9 Cheung Kong Scholars of Ministry of Education (MOE), 27 winners of National Science Foundation of China (NSFC) fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, 38 national outstanding young talents.

SCCE hosts the State Key Laboratory of Coordination Chemistry, the State Key Laboratory of Analytical Chemistry for Life Science, the Key Laboratory of Mesoscopic Chemistry of Ministry of Education and the Key Laboratory of High Performance Macromolecule Materials and Technology of Ministry of Education.

SCCE has established extensive international cooperation and academic exchanges with foreign institutions. It has hosted and sponsored a number of international conferences, symposiums and workshops on various topics. Many world leading chemists including several Nobel laureates have been invited to present lectures. Faculty members have been regularly invited to give plenary and keynote talks in the international conferences and symposiums.

II. Positions

SCCE seeks outstanding candidates for tenue-track faculty positions.

Tenure-track associate professor positions (up to 4) in the following research fields:

1. Highly sensitive techniques and instrumental for the analysis of life science

2.Condensed matter physics of polymers

l Researches bridging the theoretical simulation and experiments of polymer materials

l Researches on polymer material physics that meet the requirement of sustainable social development)

3. Green chemical engineering

Tenure-track assistant professor positions (up to 4) in the following research fields:

1. Coordination chemistry

2. Synthetic organic materials

3. Physical chemistry

4. New methods and instrumental for the analysis of micro/nano life system

III. Qualifications

The applicant should

(1) Compliance with law and regulations of the People's Republic of China, devoted to teaching and research;

(2) Good professional ethics and noble individual virtues, abide by the academic norms, work with due diligence, have no criminal record and have no record of violating teaching ethics and academic ethics;

(3) Ph.D. in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related disciplines. Post-doctoral experience with an extensive publication record in high quality journals, a commitment to excellence in research and teaching. The applicant for Assistant Professor should have engaged in academic research for more than two years after receiving the doctoral degree. The applicant for Associate Professor should have engaged in academic research for more than four years after receiving the doctoral degree;

(4) Excellent teaching abilities, competent in the core basic courses and the frontier courses of the discipline, good Pedagogy, and good presentation skills;

(5) Outstanding development potential, ability to engage with broader Chemistry / Chemical Engineering themes for the purpose of achieving transformative and translational research gains.

V. Compensation Package and Support

A successful applicant will be provided with:

(1) Competitive salaries: annual salaries will be commensurate with work experience and research performance.

(2) Competitive startup packages: all newly hired tenure-track faculty members will be provided sufficient startup resources and necessary research infrastructures.

(3) Recruit postgraduate and doctoral students.

(4) The university provides short-term lodging and housing subsidies. Applicants recruited can purchase commercial housing offered by the university at a special discount.
