一、學(xué)院介紹

南京大學(xué)計算機(jī)學(xué)科是我國最早建立的計算機(jī)學(xué)科之一，學(xué)科整體處于國內(nèi)前列。軟件工程、機(jī)器學(xué)習(xí)等方向在與國際同臺競爭中形成了特色與優(yōu)勢，在國內(nèi)外產(chǎn)生重要影響。建立了國內(nèi)首批計算機(jī)博士點、首批國家重點學(xué)科、首批國家一級重點學(xué)科、首批雙一流建設(shè)學(xué)科；計算機(jī)軟件新技術(shù)國家重點實驗室近十五年連續(xù)三次獲評優(yōu)秀、國內(nèi)計算機(jī)領(lǐng)域第一。

本系立足國際前沿、面向國家重大需求，圍繞新型程序設(shè)計與軟件方法學(xué)、機(jī)器學(xué)習(xí)與智能化信息處理、分布計算與系統(tǒng)安全、媒體計算與內(nèi)容處理、理論計算機(jī)科學(xué)等方向，實現(xiàn)了基礎(chǔ)研究引領(lǐng)創(chuàng)造技術(shù)新突破，建成了包括中國科學(xué)院院士、歐洲科學(xué)院院士、ACM/AAAI/IEEE Fellow、長江/杰青/國家特聘7人和四青14人在內(nèi)的“戰(zhàn)略科學(xué)家引領(lǐng)、中堅聚力攻關(guān)、青年潛心克難”的拔尖人才隊伍。

二、招聘崗位設(shè)置

南京大學(xué)計算機(jī)科學(xué)與技術(shù)系擬面向全球招聘有志于從事計算機(jī)學(xué)科各主要研究方向的優(yōu)秀青年人才到學(xué)院工作。本次擬招聘1名長聘副教授、4名準(zhǔn)聘助理教授，研究方向包括：計算機(jī)軟件與理論、計算機(jī)系統(tǒng)與安全、計算機(jī)應(yīng)用技術(shù)。

4. 出色的教學(xué)能力：應(yīng)具有能夠勝任本專業(yè)核心基礎(chǔ)課程和前沿課程的教學(xué)能力，掌握良好的教學(xué)方法，具有較強(qiáng)的語言表達(dá)能力；

5. 突出的科研成果顯示度與未來科研發(fā)展?jié)摿Γ簯?yīng)有相關(guān)研究方向的成果顯示度，對相關(guān)研究領(lǐng)域有原創(chuàng)性觀點，未來研究計劃思路清晰，具有較好的學(xué)術(shù)潛力。

Tenure-track Faculty Positions in Department of Computer Science and Technology, Nanjing University, China

I. About the School

The Computer Science program at Nanjing University is one of the earliest established, and also one of the most successful, in China. Its strengths in software engineering, machine learning, and other areas have received wide national and international recognitions. In particular, the State Key Laboratory for Novel Software Technology has been consistently ranked as the best computer science laboratory by the Ministry of Science and Technology of China for 15 years.

The Department of Computer Science and Technology currently has a BS, a MS, and a PhD program. Its faculty conduct active research in areas such as novel programming and software methodologies, machine learning and intelligent information processing, distributed computing and system security, media computing and content processing, and theoretical computer science. Faculty members have been elected to the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Academia Europaea, as well as Fellow of important organizations like ACM, AAAI, and IEEE.

II. Positions

The Department of Computer Science and Technology of Nanjing University invites applications for tenure-track and tenured faculty positions in all areas of computer science. There is one opening at the level of tenured associate professor, and four at the level of tenure-track assistant professor.

III. Qualifications

The applicant should

(1) Compliance with law and regulations of the People's Republic of China, devoted to teaching and research;

(2) Good professional ethics and noble individual virtues, abide by the academic norms, work with due diligence, have no criminal record and have no record of violating teaching ethics and academic ethics;

(3) have a first-rate background in academic training, specifically, have a PhD degree in computer science or a related area, experience in studying and/or working at first-rate teaching and research institutions, postdoctoral experience at world leading institutions will be a plus. And have knowledge of the latest international trends and development in the relevant research field(s). The applicant for Assistant Professor should have engaged in academic research for more than two years after receiving the doctoral degree;

(4) have outstanding teaching abilities—a strong record of research publications and demonstration of teaching ability are also essential. The applicant should be able to teach core and frontline courses in the corresponding discipline, and have sound teaching methodology and strong verbal skills;

(5) demonstrate outstanding research output and potential—the applicant should have publications in his/her field of research, original ideas about relevant fields of research, a clear vision about future research plans, and good potential for further academic development.

V. Compensation Package and Support

A successful applicant will be provided with:

(1) A competitive annual salary (commensurate with qualifications and experience);
