一、學院介紹

南京大學地球科學與工程學院是中國歷史最悠久、高層次人才培養(yǎng)最多的地學院系之一。歷經(jīng)百年建設，學科方向齊全、綜合實力強、國際影響顯著，在參加的教育部歷次學科評估中，地質學學科始終保持國內(nèi)最前列；“地質學”和“礦業(yè)工程”入選國家“雙一流”建設學科。

學院堅持四個面向，秉持“走向現(xiàn)代化、走進社會、走出地球”的發(fā)展理念，構建新型學科體系，努力實現(xiàn)“國內(nèi)領先，國際一流，南大特色”的發(fā)展目標。目前學院擁有一支包括6位中國科學院院士和約50位國家級高層次人才的高水平師資隊伍，建有內(nèi)生金屬礦床成礦機制研究國家重點實驗室、關鍵地球物質循環(huán)前沿科學中心、表生地球化學教育部重點實驗室等多個科研平臺以及國家級地球科學教學示范中心，具有較強的國際影響力。

國際同位素效應研究中心（ICIER）是國家級引進人才鮑惠銘教授全職回國在南京大學創(chuàng)立的跨學科的獨立的研究中心。中心掛靠地球科學與工程學院，以研究同位素效應為核心，促進各學科的交叉，融合和突破，解決重大交叉科學問題為使命，涉及的主要學科包括：地球、行星，大氣、海洋，環(huán)境，考古，生態(tài)，材料，生命等領域。

二、招聘崗位設置

南京大學地球科學與工程學院國際同位素效應研究中心擬面向全球招聘有志于從事領域各主要同位素效應研究方向的優(yōu)秀青年人才到學院工作。本次擬招聘崗位為準聘助理教授，崗位總數(shù)原則上不超過2個；特別優(yōu)秀的高層次人才崗位另議。招聘研究方向包括：

（1）金屬穩(wěn)定同位素地球化學

（2）有機地球化學

三、申請條件

4. 出色的教學能力：應具有能夠勝任本專業(yè)核心基礎課程和前沿課程的教學能力，掌握良好的教學方法，具有較強的語言表達能力；

5. 突出的科研成果顯示度與未來科研發(fā)展?jié)摿Γ簯�有相關研究方向的成果顯示度，對相關研究領域有原創(chuàng)性觀點，未來研究計劃思路清晰，具有較好的學術潛力。

Tenure-track Faculty Positions in School of Earth Sciences and Engineering, Nanjing University, China

I. About ICIER

ICIER（International center for isotope effects research）is a cross-college and cross-discipline research center. It is currently based off and growing out of the College of Earth Sciences and Engineering at Nanjing University. All of our faculty members are affiliated with different colleges in Nanjing University, including but not limited to Earth Sciences, Planetary Sciences, Chemistry, Environmental Sciences, Geography and Oceanography, Atmospheric Sciences, Medical School, and Life Sciences. Both Chinese and English are primary means of scientific communication at ICIER.

ICIER has her own ~ 2000-m2 office-laboratory suite, equipped with state-of-art facilities and laboratory equipment, and is located in Modern Engineering Plaza of Xianlin campus (the main campus of Nanjing University), a separate building from the one that hosts the College of Earth Sciences.

II. Positions

ICIER plans to recruit young scholars who aspire to have a career in the field of stable isotope effect. The application is open to scholars from all over the world. There are vacancies for 2 tenure-track assistant professor. Higher positions for particularly outstanding scholars are also available, and application will be considered individually. Specific fields of research open for recruitment are:

1.Research on stable isotope effect of metals

2.Research on stable isotope effect of organic compounds

III. Qualifications

The applicant should

(1) abide by the laws and regulations of the People’s Republic of China, and have a passion for teaching and research;

(2) abide by the ethics of teachers, uphold academic integrity, be willing to work diligently, and have no criminal record or record in breaching the ethics of teachers and/or academic integrity;

(3) have a first-rate background in academic training—specifically, a PhD in relevant disciplines, experience in studying and/or working at first-rate teaching and research institutions, and knowledge of the latest international trends and development in the relevant research field(s); The applicant for Assistant Professor should have engaged in academic research for more than two years after receiving the doctoral degree. The applicant for Associate Professor should have engaged in academic research for more than four years after receiving the doctoral degree;

(4) have outstanding teaching abilities—the applicant should be able to teach core and frontline courses in the corresponding discipline, and have sound teaching methodology and strong verbal skills;

(5) demonstrate outstanding research output and potential—the applicant should have publications in his/her field of research, original ideas about relevant fields of research, a clear vision about future research plans, and good potential for further academic development.
