戴森工程與技術(shù)學(xué)院(Dyson Institute of Engineering and Technology)位于威爾特郡的馬姆斯伯里鎮(zhèn)，占地67英畝，于2017年九月正式開(kāi)放。戴森投入3150萬(wàn)英鎊用于幫助緩解英國(guó)工程師匱乏的處境。戴森將支付學(xué)生們四年課程的全部學(xué)費(fèi)，其中包含了第一年和第二年的工程學(xué)基礎(chǔ)知識(shí)。課程在第三年和第四年將教授電子和機(jī)械工程學(xué)。與此同時(shí)，他們還將在戴森的全球工程團(tuán)隊(duì)中帶薪工作，接觸真實(shí)的工程項(xiàng)目，參與開(kāi)發(fā)未來(lái)的戴森技術(shù)。

在2017年九月，戴森宣布已經(jīng)著手研發(fā)電動(dòng)車長(zhǎng)達(dá)三年。戴森承諾將投入20億英磅研發(fā)電動(dòng)車并于2021年上市。該項(xiàng)目將憑借戴森現(xiàn)有技術(shù)在固態(tài)電池、馬達(dá)、視覺(jué)系統(tǒng)、機(jī)器人、流體動(dòng)力學(xué)和HVAC系統(tǒng)上不斷創(chuàng)新。
